Yesterday afternoon when I went to pick up Millie (kind of late because I had to work to get the paper out) and opened the door, I realized that all the work, late nights, lack of sleep, etc. was all worth it.
Millie had this HUGE smile on her face because she was so happy to see me. Me, her mommy. She doesn't say mommy; it's always dada. But I know that she still wants me around. Wants me to hold her. Wants me to comfort her when she is tired or upset. Wants me to read to her.
So that very moment made it all worth it.........
