She has been sick for a week now. Jacade took her to the doctor last Friday and they told her that she just had a cold. She was able to get the FluMist. And she now weighs 32 lbs. and is 36 in. tall.
But since Monday, she has been running a fever. It goes from 99.5 to 101.9 all throughout the day. It was 99.2 this morning so hopefully we are getting towards the end.
Just please say a little prayer for a quick recovery for her (and for her parents - we've been getting up every 4 hours to check her temp and give her medicine).

Millie's first trip to the Dentist!!!
Today (11/4) was Millie's first trip ever to the Dentist. Jacade took her this morning at 9:30 a.m. He told me that when he arrived, there was a book called, "Dora goes to the dentist," and he quickly read it to her, showing her all the different tools they would be using.
When they were called back, Millie hopped right into the chair. They leaned her chair back and put the light in her face. They took x-rays and told her to open up real big and bite down. She did all of that with no problems. They put the little mirror in her mouth and looked around. They even poked all around in her mouth and on her teeth and she never once flinched.
The dentist and hygienist, everyone in there, were all just amazed at how well she acted and behaved. I made the appointment for her because I was concerned because she had a little discoloring on her two front teeth. But the dentist said that it was because all of the enamel didn't form there. She told Jacade not to be concerned about it.
She got a little goodie bag with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and a couple of prizes. We're both so proud of her.

2-yr. old checkup
I took Millie to the doctor Monday morning for her 2-yr. old checkup. She did well, although she wouldn't show the doctor what a good talker she was. I was afraid we were going to have to have shots, but we dodged the bullet until she's 3!!!
Here are her current stats:
Weight: 28 lbs., 2 oz.
Height: 35 1/2 inches tall

Millie's doctor's appointment
I forgot to post last week that I took Millie to the doctor for her 15-mo. checkup. Everything went well, except for the very end when it was time to get the shots - 4 to be exact.
Her stats.....
weight 23 lbs., 4 oz.
height 32 inches
head circumference 47.5 cm
Dr. Cousin asked if Millie knew any body parts and I rattled off head, nose, eyes, mouth, teeth, hair, and sometimes, ears. She said that she was ahead of her age group by knowing so many. And I told her that we had been working on the sign language, which she seemed to be impressed by that.
We go back to the doctor at 18 mos. for another checkup. I can't believe she is already 15 mos. old. Time flies. But it's definitely been great.
