A couple of weeks ago, we had Date Night at home with Millie and the task was to make a homemade pizza. We asked Millie what she wanted on her pizza and she replied, "Macaroni and cheese." So we went to Publix Friday afternoon and bought the fixin's for the pizza - homemade pizza dough from Publix, ground beef, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, cheese, pizza sauce, and a box of SpongeBob SquarePants macaroni & cheese.
We cooked the pizza and while it was cooking, we finished watching a really good movie - Ponyo. You should check it out sometime. The pizza finished and it was actually really good, even with the mac-n-cheese. But guess who wouldn't eat any pizza? Yes, Millie didn't want any pizza. Go figure. It was good though and we watched the movie Up! before drifting off to sleep.

Ponyo is a great movie, as is anything that the director Miyazake (?) has done. Millie might also like "Porco Rosso" and "Howl's Moving Castle" and "Spirited Away" (though they get a bit intense for the younguns). "Princess Mononoke" is also amazing, but a bit more adult.
