It's one thing when your child climbs OUT of the crib, but it's another thing when your child climbs INTO the crib. And that's exactly what Millie did over the weekend. She got her one foot onto the bottom of the rail, put the other foot onto the mattress and proceeded to pull herself in. The next time she tried, she was having some trouble. So as I was standing by with the camera, she asked me, "Get chair?" Sure, why not. So she got her blue play chair, pulled it over to the crib, climbed onto the seat, stood up and held onto the rail, put her feet on top of the back of the chair, and climbed into her bed.
Needless to say, I've let the crib rail down to act like a transition from a crib to a toddler bed. So far she has done really well with it. So that's what will be next. Soon....
