Look at that outfit
While eating dinner, we stripped Millie down to her diaper to protect her clothes from misplaced spaghetti. And instead of getting dressed again, she just threw on her pink boots so we could take the Big Wheel outside for a spin!

What's in the box?
Millie's big present was a Red Flyer Big Wheel. She is a little small for it right now; can't reach the pedals. But she loved it, nonetheless!

Present Time!!!
Jacade wanted Millie to have a present to open on her official birthday (her party is this weekend) and so he got her a big package when we got home Thursday evening.

Spaghetti & Chocolate Cake!
Spaghetti and Chocolate Cake is the BEST birthday dinner ever! That's what we had last Thursday, May 7, for Millie's 2nd birthday. She ate some of the spaghetti, but mostly made a mess with it. But truly enjoyed the chocolate cake!!

2-yr. old checkup
I took Millie to the doctor Monday morning for her 2-yr. old checkup. She did well, although she wouldn't show the doctor what a good talker she was. I was afraid we were going to have to have shots, but we dodged the bullet until she's 3!!!
Here are her current stats:
Weight: 28 lbs., 2 oz.
Height: 35 1/2 inches tall

Happy Birthday Millie!
I know I am late in posting this (and Marshall, you're going to get to see some new photos) but Millie celebrated her 2nd birthday last Thursday!
Wow! I can't believe she is already 2 years old. Where did the time go? Out the door and down the street!
She is doing so many things now and talking so well. Of course, when we went to the doctor, she wouldn't say a word. Go figure. But she is repeating everything we say. Hard words too. She is not doing her sign language as much; hey, she can talk! But she still does some. We are busy pointing out everything to her. And she doesn't forget a thing.
What she loves right now:
reading/looking at books
playing outside
going to the park
dressing/undressing herself
her babydolls
listening to music and dancing
running
jumping
What new foods she is eating these days:
She actually likes broccoli - we call them trees
most beans
grilled cheese sandwiches
spaghetti (sometimes)
pizza
cereal bars
most all fruits
